To meet the growing demand for environmental talent, this project delivers a comprehensive suite of workforce development initiatives. Through targeted HR consulting and strategic employer engagement, 飞别鈥檙别 equipping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with the tools they need to attract and retain environmentally skilled professionals.听
Project Components
Customized HR Consulting
Receive up to 15 hours of 1-on-1 support from ECO Canada鈥檚 in-house HR specialists. Focused on environmental hiring, workforce planning, and retention strategies鈥攆ree for 60 selected SMEs.
Interactive Training Workshops
Five sessions across Alberta (virtual + in-person) will train HR staff on:
- Writing clear, targeted job description.
- Conducting inclusive and equitable interviews
- Applying workforce analytics
- Building empowering team cultures
Digital Resource Hub
Access 30鈥�50 downloadable HR templates, self-assessment tools, and best-practice guides to support everyday hiring and team development.
Sustainable Job Fair
We鈥檙e hosting major job fairs in Calgary and online听bringing together:

Sectors: Renewable energy, clean tech, environmental services, disaster recovery
Marketing support includes:
Social media promotion, email campaigns, and local media outreach to maximize impact.
Workforce Track at ECO Impact 2026
